3words January 25/30

Today’s 3words are: LUCK, REPORT, HIGH.

And my ongoing story is…

I put aside the Sunday paper’s REPORT of the Chelsea defeat, described by many as the biggest shock in FA Cup history. And I was LUCKy enough to have been sober enough to watch it. And, probably more importantly, remember.

I hadn’t long been drinking when my dad’s favourite side, United, knocked Arsenal out with a Giggs goal in extra time. My only memories of that day come from HIGHlight reels. I do recall being the only United fan in the pub, though, being London-based, and getting beaten up for cheering.

This was a nice feeling. Knowing I would remember.
